Create a Parked Domain (Alias)

What is a Parked Domain?

A parked domain (or alias) is an additional domain that displays exactly the same content as your main domain. For example, if you have mycompany.com, you can park mycompany.net and mycompany.co so that they all display the same site.

Common Uses

  • Protect your brand by registering domain variants
  • Redirect misspelled domains to the correct one
  • Have the same site on .com and .com.ve

How to Create a Parked Domain in cPanel

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Look for the "Domains" section
  3. Click on "Parked Domains" (or Aliases)
  4. Enter the additional domain you want to park
  5. Click on "Add Parked Domain"
⚠️ Requirement: The domain you wish to park must first be pointing to PlatiniumHost's nameservers. If it is with another registrar, change its nameservers to ns1.platiniumhost.com and ns2.platiniumhost.com.
✅ Result: Anyone who visits the parked domain will see exactly the same site as the main domain, without the need to duplicate files.
