Configure WHM as a Reseller for the first time

What is WHM?

WHM (Web Host Manager) is the administration panel superior to cPanel. While cPanel is for the end-user, WHM allows you to create and manage multiple cPanel accounts, define hosting plans, and administer your entire reseller infrastructure.

Initial Setup — Step-by-Step

1. Configure the Mail Server

1. In WHM, search for "Server Configuration → Exim Configuration Manager"
2. Activate the recommended security options
3. Save changes

2. Configure Nameservers

1. Go to "DNS Functions → Nameserver IPs"
2. Assign IPs to ns1 and ns2 of your domain
3. Save changes

3. Customize Branding

1. Go to "cPanel → Branding"
2. Upload your company logo
3. Change the colors and name your clients see in cPanel
