Starting in January 2017, websites that are not running HTTPS will have a message that appears in the address bar saying “Not Secure” on pages that collect passwords or credit cards.

This is the first part of a phased rollout that encourages websites to get rid of the old HTTP and move all websites towards a more secure Internet. For this reason, we have full support for free SSL certificates powered by Let’s Encrypt along with paid alternatives (wildcard).
Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority (CA), run for the public’s benefit. It is a service provided by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG). These SSL certificates are compatible with major browsers and are automatically renewed every 90 days without any intervention. These SSL certificates are domain-validated and do not require a dedicated IP address.
If you are a PlatiniumHost customer, your domain(s) and subdomains will receive Free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates 24 hours after pointing your domain's DNS to PlatiniumHost. If no SSL is installed on your site, please open a new support ticket from your Dashboard and we will be happy to help you with this.
