What is this for?
You can send and receive emails from youremail@yourdomain.com directly from your Gmail account, without leaving Google. Ideal if you already use Gmail as your primary email client.
Part 1 — Receiving emails (IMAP)
- In Gmail, open Settings (⚙️) → See all settings
- Go to the "Accounts and Import" tab
- Under "Check mail from other accounts" click on "Add a mail account"
- Enter your full corporate email and click "Next"
- Select "Import emails from my other account (POP3)"
- Complete the details:
POP Server: mail.yourdomain.comPort: 995 | Mark SSL - Check "Leave a copy of messages on the server"
- Click "Add Account"
Part 2 — Sending emails as your domain (SMTP)
- In the same tab, look for "Send mail as"
- Click on "Add another email address"
- Enter your name and corporate email
- Complete the SMTP details:
SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.comPort: 465 | SSLYour email username and password - Gmail will send a verification code to your corporate email
- Check your webmail or Outlook, copy the code, and paste it into Gmail
✅ Configured! Now when you compose an email in Gmail, you can choose which address to send it from.
